Over the Easter holiday I was thinking about how I really should have been keeping a diary from the very beginning of my New York adventure because, someday, I will actually want to remember all the good, bad, and ugly. Since the blog is the new diary and putting the daily, dirty, and dull out there for the world (ie strangers) to read is the thing, I'm going to try to make this some semblance of a blog....with readers and all. Gasp!
Please hang in there with me while I try to do so.
I am a late twenties Southern Californian who, like so many others, gave up normal sized living spaces, driving, and sometimes food when I moved to NYC in the Fall of 2007 to pursue my "dream career." I live among books, out of suitcases, and in awe of the ways my life has changed over the past three years. And I do wear flip flops down Lexington Ave. E-mail me at flipflopsonlex [at] gmail [dot] com.
